Mastitis and good times.....(not good times WITH mastitis)....

Did that title make sense? lol

Winter is here.....which brings along with it runny noses, tons of sneezes, sleepless nights....and mastitis?!

That is what I have been battling with this week. Yesterday (Weds.) I had a fever of 101 degrees, chills, achy body, and one VERY sore breast. I had it once before with baby cakes. Gosh, I would take on 4 sick kids any day over having mastitis. It literally kicks you in the butt!! And there is no calling in sick when your a mommy (unfortunately).

I went to urgent care yesterday only for them to tell me to go and see my OBGYN. Thank goodness I didn't have to wait long just to have them tell me that! I spent the rest of the evening up in bed nursing baby boo as much as he would let me, and lover lips gave me a blessing before we went to sleep. I woke up this morning feeling 200% better!!

I am sooo grateful that it passed all on its own and didn't linger around for a long time. I am incredibly grateful for my husband who worthily holds the priesthood!! Our family has been blessed in more ways than I can count from having the priesthood in our home!!

Today I ran across some pictures from when we lived in Mullen, Nebraska. It was cool to see the reaction on Baby Cakes face when she saw all of those pictures of her when she was younger. What a fun time that was! And holy cow, looking back now, 2 kids was a breeze compared to how it is now. HAHA!! It blows my mind at how much has changed in 2 short years. I still love being a mommy more than ever, despite the challenge it is to take care of 4 kids.

She was the chubbiest baby ever!!

This was the beginning of her "get into everything and eat everything that shouldn't be eaten" mischievousness...
That is crayon all over her face. She was obsessed with eating crayons!

Mullen is a very very tiny town. There is one main street.....and this is it....

Baby Cakes and Suga Bears first snow....

Baby cake's 2nd Birthday....

I was 1 month pregnant with Bubziee in this picture....

Suga Bear fell asleep while shopping at Wal*Mart...lol!

Baby cakes always used to do this "funny tummy" dance. She was cracking up when she watched it today!! I wish she still remembered how to do it.

Hey Aubre! Your kids are so cute! I don't know how you do it with 4 little ones, I have my hands full with 1. Let me know how it goes nursing with Easton. I know just nursing on one side each feeding helped Toree a lot. I am a huge advocate for nursing so give it a try! See you Sunday!
