Chaos at church and "sprinkles"....

Oh my word!! We finally went back to church after being gone for 5 weeks (because of the baby).....and chaos it the only word to explain how that went. Baby cakes was in a grumpy mood because I accidentally forgot her precious pony snack. And that just pretty much set the tone for the rest of sacrament meeting. She didn't want to have anything to do with being reverent or nice. And what Baby cakes does, Suga Bear follows.

Bubziee.....oh Bubziee. What am I going to do about him?! His only goal is to get out and run around...and he kicks and screams until he gets his way. Well....we need to nip that one in the bud NOW. So I took him out for the first 15-20 mins. and held him the whole time despite his best efforts to wiggle away. But then the baby was hungry, so Hubby took over at that point. That little boy is a strong headed little boy. And man....he has the loudest scream EVER!! And to top that off, we were sitting in like the 3rd or 4th row....and i'm sure everyone was looking at us the whole time (probably not because they were busy taking care of their own children. But it sure feels like the whole ward is looking at you!)

I just sometimes feel that I spend my whole time at church trying to feed kids. In between the baby wanting to nurse, and giving Bubziee snacks the whole time just to keep him quite. Maybe he is so grumpy BECAUSE I keep trying to shove food down his throat?! lol. I never thought of that one.....

After church, I looked at Hubby.... and me, being the dramatic one in the family, threw my hands up in the air and said, "What have we done?!" And my husband, being the optomistic and sun shiney one said, "We have a little family." And he's right, this is what it is right now. We have 4 young kids who are in the process of learning. No, its not easy, and no way are we perfect at it. Its not ever going to be easy. But we need to accept it, and deal with it the best we can. And we always need to be grateful for our little babies (despite them acting like crazy little monkeys 1/2 the time), because it is a huge blessing to have a little family!!! I need to learn more from his optomistic perspective on things.

Anyways, we are going to have a discussion for family night tomorrow on being reverent. 'Cause it was down right CrAzInEsS today!

SO....with that said, i'll leave you with something that will make you smile.
One day Hubby was holding Baby boo and Baby cakes wanted to hold him too. As she was cuddling and loving on her baby brother, she looked up at daddy and said, "Daddy, Baby Boo has sprinkles on his nose!"

In case your wondering what she's talking about....

Sprinkles is her definition of baby acne. lol! Its a cute way to look at it!! And we have been calling his baby acne, "sprinkles" ever since then.

So here is to baby sprinkles......
