Don't let the bed bugs bite and first smiles....

As we were getting ready for our daily nap, Baby Cakes wanted to read Suga Bear a book. She sat down in her bedroom and "read" the following bedtime story....

"Late one dark and stormy night,

there was a shadow on the wall.

And there was a....

tarantula!"

Goodnight Suga Bear! Don't let the bed bugs bite!!

I was in the other room listened the whole time, and just laughing! Let me tell ya, that story will really help her sleep good!! I then began to ponder on where she came up with that kind of story?? And it dawned on me that she has memorized it from one of her favorite shows, "Max and Ruby." I kid you not, she will watch a certain show over and over again over the course of a couple of weeks until she has it memorized! Her and Suga Bear spend a great deal of time every day "playing" Max and Ruby, and Baby Cakes even walks around calling Bubziee, "Max."
LOL! I love those kids!

If you have never seen "Max and Ruby", watch the video below. Now you can say that you have! (Not that I expect you to watch 22 mins of it.)

Oh, and guess what?! Baby Boo smiled today!! YEAH!!! I didn't have the camera...so no picture. Sorry. But it was the dangest cutest smile you have ever seen!!!!! I LOVE those first smiles where they look at you and realize, "Hey! There's my mommy!"

A FYI about Aubre is that she memorizes stories very well. Even as a child, she too would read stories over and over and she would memorize them. Just ask her to recite a child's book and she can recite the whole story. Sometimes we ask her just for the fun of it. BriAnn is like her mother.
