Confessions of a mother.....

To my dear, sweet children....

I have a confession to make. You know the 8th commandment, "Thou Shalt Not Steal"? Probably not because I haven't gone over the 10 commandments with you yet.

Well....to put it bluntly....

Your mother steals from you.

(head hanging down in shame.)

OH the shock and horror...I KNOW!

Do you also know that oh so yummy "Marshmallow Mateys" cereal that we all eat every morning? You call it, "mommies cereal"....

Yeah....uh....

We started calling it mommies cereal because I steal the marshmallows from your cereal bowl and put them in mine.

You see.....I feel that you each need to cut way down on your sugar intake, and I need to increase mine to keep up with messes like this.....



(at least that is what goes through my head when your father comes to me with an almost empty pack of mint oreo's, and asks what in the heck happened to all of them.)

And thats my story, and dangit, i'm sticking to it!!

So, dear children, I am so sorry. But I don't feel like kicking that marshmallow snatching habit anytime soon. One day you will understand when you have children of your own.
