I have a ton of pictures to post........another day. But I got the results back from my First Trimester Screen! For Down Syndrome and Trisomy 18, the baby has a 1 in 10,000 chance of having it. And he/she has a 1 in 6,000 chance of having a Neural Tube defect. The nurse said that those are excellent results! So yeah!!! It puts my mind at ease. Of course, there's still that "chance", but i'm not worried.
Today we went to the library and as we were leaving, BriAnn said, "Mommy, your tummy is big." LOL...if I wasn't preggers, I think I would have been a little hurt. But its cute that she understands a little more about what it going on. She has been talking about the baby in my tummy ALL day long and is constantly patting my belly. During our nap, she put her doll next to her and she said, "I'm sleeping with my baby just like your sleeping with the baby in your tummy." hehe. It was cute! But then it got me thinking about how crazy that is. When we all take a nap (BriAnn and Ethan sleep with me. Thats the ONLY way BriAnn will take her nap. Plus, I get one too. Can't complain about that, right?), there are really 4 people in that bed! I have Ethan sleeping on my arm, BriAnn snuggles right up against my back, and then there's baby Barnhart nestled warmly in between. Its kinda cute to think about. Anyways, BriAnn is always telling me that i'm going to have 10 babies. Boy am I glad that she isn't right!!! But she's definitely excited.
We also have an ultrasound on the 15th where we will find out what we are having. So vote on whether you think its a girl or a boy.
I'll get some pics up soon. But I just wanted to share the happy news!!
