I don't know if its just me, but it just doesn't feel like Christmas this year.
Maybe its the lack of snow??
We have to decided to go tree-less this year because of one very determined, and stubborn (but oh so very cute!) 18 month old who will only destroy it in a matter of seconds. Instead, we put the ornaments elsewhere around the house (which, he still tries to get. I just can't win with that little dude! lol) The girls don't seem to care too much...they are still pretty young to care a whole lot about it.
Maybe next year....or not. 'Cause then Easton will be at that age?? We'll see.
I guess I can't say we are going tree-less. We do have this one tiny tree. We are starting a new tradition (and I think I got this idea from my mom). But each year we are going to write down something that we want to work on for the upcoming year, and put it under the tree as a Christmas gift to Christ. After all, He is the reason we celebrate Christmas, right?!
So that is what this tree is for:
So that is what this tree is for:
Daddy made some Christmas puppets (the same puppets we made last year. Click here.) with the girls the other day, and Emma was putting on a puppet show for us....
And here is the determined, rambunctious, crazy (but very cute!) little 18 month old I was referring to...

This time, he was determined in a different way. He LOVES to stack blocks,
and line up candy land pieces....
and marker caps....
Oh, and some good news!! Ethan is starting to talk a lot more (finally!) Only problem is, one of the very few words that he knows is....
well....
no!
