Well my baby girl is now 4! (She's been 4 for a month now, but again, better late than never.)
Oh, I love this little girl! She is such a bundle of cuteness and sweetness. She has such a tender little spirit and I love her so much! I can't believe that she (and all of them!) is growing up so fast. Its. Just. Not. Right.
To mark her first month as a four year old, she did this....
Yup...she fractured her arm (a torus fracture) by flipping over the baby gate...twice. The 1st time it just hurt her wrist, but the second time did some real damage.
So 3 days later we went to her PCP, and she (some doc. I have never met before) took off her splint AND SAID SHE WAS FINE!! I was like...WAH?!
The next day Emma got called back into Children's Mercy Urgent Care to put it BACK on because they were like WAH?!?! too.......I mean obviously she has a fracture AND NEEDS A SPLINT before she can get her cast!! I don't know what that Dr. was thinking...I mean really?!
So anyways, a few days later she got her super cute pink cast on and she is doing great! She has never complained about it hurting or itching or anything.
Then last week, she stepped on a screw. OUCH! And then a few days later, Ethan got a hold of mama's scissors (stinker pot!) and cut off a little chunk of her finger tip. That poor girl! She's ready to just be done with the ouchies for a while!
