Day at the zoo....

The other day we went to the zoo....and it was SO the best day to go! It was overcast, not to hot nor humid. And we figured now would be the time to go before it gets too hot, and I get too big to want to walk that much.

The girls had so much fun, and they were such troopers considering they walked ALOT, and didn't get their daily nap in.

We took the tram to Africa, and the guy told us that the last pickup for the day would be at 4:30. So we walked as fast as we could to go see the lions (which weren't out), and when we got back at 4:26, the tram had already left. And if anyone has been to the zoo here, the walk to and from Africa is a loooooong walk! So needless to say, we were exhausted by the time we got to the car. BriAnn fell asleep in the car literally 3 minutes after we left the zoo! But we had so much fun, and it was well worth the money to spend that time together.

They had a sea lion show when we arrived. The girls thought it was the best thing ever! That is the closest they are going to get to sea world for awhile, especially with gas being almost $4.00 a gallon (which is ridiculous if you ask me!)

The sea lion came right in front of Emma and I, and it scared the heck out of her. LOL!

LOL...only those in my family will get this joke. But Rach, this bird reminds me of you when you clean your ears. LOL...you can tell the bird was in heaven when she was scratching her ear. HEHE...I LOVE YOU BABE!

Mmmmm... that is my most favorite thing to do right there! Taking a nap with the sun shining on me thru the window!

I guess that is one way to sleep....

Awwwhhh....

BriAnn had 3 main goals at the zoo....to see the sheep, the elephants (which weren't there), and the lions (which couldn't been seen either.) But she got to see her sheep, so she was happy. That is, until it started moving. Then they were both terrified of it!

By the way Emily, I owe you a dollar. BriAnn saw that stuffed sheep and some other toys downstairs in your garage sell stuff that they wanted. She has been carrying that sheep around for a week now!

Here are the many grumpy (funny) faces of Emma. She is starting her terrible 2's/3's stage. AAHHH!!!

I think....I....can....GET IT!!!

"Are we done walking yet?"

The train ride sure picked up their spirits!!!

WHOA, thats a scary pic. of me...

Ethan refused to the look at the camera while the train was rolling...

I finally got a picture of him! Once the train stopped that is =O)

BriAnn asked if she could pet the cheetah. We told her that is one kitty that you don't want to pet!

You have to check out this video!! It is so stinkin' funny! ( I think we kinda broke the rule of "don't feed the animals". HEY, The sheep started it!)
