The Circle Of Neighbors....

I rushed out the door into the bitter cold air the other morning to go get my little kadiddles some milk. For some reason they feel they need milk to go along with their cereal. Who know's why?! ;O)

And there she was....my dear sweet neighbor, with kids in tow.  She had just realized that she ran out of gas. (We secretly blame you James. =O)

"A chance to serve my neighbor!" I thought to myself. She, my wards most amazing primary president! She, who serves others 24/7...she, who takes everyone's children under her wing and makes sure they get the most out of their primary day.

We dumped some gas into her car, I started mine so it could warm up, but it still wasn't enough gas. I hopped into my car to go get some more....

"I'm out of gas!"

Seriously, what are the odds?! (Secretly, we blame you Eran. ;O)

Luckily we had Eran's car...I went and got Emily some gas. She gave my kids some milk. She went and got me some gas. We laughed and told Heavenly Father that we got the message loud and clear. Keep our tanks full, both physically and spiritually. I made a new commitment to always refill the car's tank when its 1/2 way empty. She thanked me for saving her, when in turn she saved me, and my hungry kids. And that is the circle of neighbors.

I feel so fortunate to live where I do. I feel so blessed to have such amazing neighbors (and the neighbors before them were just as amazing!) James and Emily are not allowed to move because I don't know if I can get as lucky to get amazing neighbors 2 times in a row! Its going to be hard to leave someday. I know there will be tears. But for now, i'm loving it.
