Twice a month, as I drive to Children's Mercy Hospital, I am brought back down to earth. The reality that there are so many young kids who are sick....really sick......is terrifying and sad. And I am reminded at how blessed and lucky I am that the only major medical issue that I have had to deal with so far is Easton's torticollis. It is something that is so minor, and so fixable. My heart goes out to the mother, the father, and the child who has to battle with something that is so much worse that a little 11 degree tilt of the neck. I don't know how I would be able to deal with seeing one of my children really sick.
It is something that I am so grateful for.

Update: Easton went to his physical therapy session yesterday. His neck's range of motion is pretty much where it should be at now, and he is holding his huge noggin up much better. We are also working on teaching him how to crawl to get around instead of scootin' around on his bumm to get to his final destination. Yes, he scoots. On his bumm. And it. is. CUTE!!
He also got his first hair cut with the clippers. Eran did an excellent job. He looks super duper cute! But that is something that I always knew.
He is also starting to eat FOOD!! WITHOUT THROWING UP!!!! YEEEEEES!!!
So check out this cutie....
because he is the definition of cuteness!

LOVE THEM!!!! LOVE THAT LITTLE BOY!!!
He is so precious! I understand what you're feeling, when my twins were in the NICU I started to realize that some of those little tiny babies in there had some pretty serious problems that were a lot more than just being born early. What a blessing to have these healthy children!
