Flash back to AZ...plus I need your advice!

Well it has officially happened!! You know what i'm talking about. The "stuff" that every parent experiences at least once with their kids. Ranging from things getting stuck up their nose, getting locked out of your own car by your children, etc. This time around....BriAnn locked us out of the house. Oh sure! And its amazing how they all of a sudden "don't know how to unlock the door." lol. Luckily my parents had a key. Needless to say, we were not very happy with the little misses.

My tail bone still hurts like crazy. Its not as bad, but bad enough that sitting is still very painful. When I went to the ER, they told me it will take about 6 weeks to heal. Just in time to go and deliver a baby!!! I am going to talk to my doctor this week and see if she thinks delivering vaginally will damage it all over again...or worse...break it. Cause if that is a huge possibility, I might consider a c-section. If I deliver vaginal, and it gets damaged again....its going to hurt so flippin' bad...especially in those hospital beds. But if I get a c-section, thats going to hurt too....and I would be in the hospital longer. But I would probably heal faster from a c-section than if I were to damage my tail bone again. I'll see what my doc. thinks. But in the mean time....any thoughts about this?!

I know I had something else that I wanted to talk about...but I can't remember what it was. OH!!! I went to my wic appointment this past week, and I was surprised to find out that I have only gained 14 lbs so far! I normally gain 30 to 35 lbs with each pregnancy (more with BriAnn). And here are some interesting facts: according to americanpregnancy.org,
  • At least 4 lbs of that is little Easton at the moment. And then here is where the weight goes for a normal 30 lbs pregnancy:
  • 1 1/2 pounds is how much the placenta weighs.
  • 4 pounds is attributed to increased fluid volume.
  • 2 pounds is the weight of the uterus.
  • 2 pounds is the weight of breast tissue.
  • 4 pounds is because of increased blood volume.
  • 7 pounds is attributed to maternal stores of fat, protein and other nutrients.
  • 2 pounds for the amniotic fluid.
Pretty interesting, huh? So anyways, I was excited to hear that good news! Of course, it helps when my kids ARE my daily 12 hour exercise routine. There is no rest for the weary (and pregnant) in this household!

Here is a fun little flash back. These pics were taken on April 30th, 2006 in Mesa, AZ, right before we moved to Nebraska for the summer. They are pictures of Grandma Christy (my mother-in-law), Priscilla (my niece), and BriAnn and Emma. Look at how tiny they were!!!
We love and miss you Grandma and Priscilla (and everyone else)!! You need to come over yonder and visit sometime. =O) hint hint! =O)

Seeing these pictures makes me miss Arizona and the family that we have there!! *sniff sniff*
