Our family has had alot of accomplishments in the past month! The biggest one is that we have been so blessed to have been able to pay off $12,000 in debt in the past 2 months!! Yeah, thats A LOT of flippin' debt! Thanks to Eran's hard work, a very generous tax season, and my parents buying our van (they will be moving down here from Alaska in 2 months.) Eran and I decided that sacrificing 6 months without a 2nd car is a small sacrifice to make. Just to not have that debt hanging over our heads is a HUGE weight off of our shoulders!! We still have $4,000 left to pay off, but the majority of that is Eran's car, and the rest is a credit card. But when that stimulus package check comes, that will take care of the credit card. Too bad we'll be getting right back into debt when Eran goes to school. lol. But at least that debt is for a good cause and it isn't unnecessary debt. So I think that is a HUGE accomplishment and is something to celebrate about!
The 2nd accomplishment is BriAnn is now binky free!! YEAH!!!! I know, I know, a binky at 3 is kinda gross. Thats exactly why is was time to get rid of it. So a few weeks back when she was sick with the croup, I cut the very tip of her paci off and she took one look at it and pretty much threw a hissy fit. lol. But she wasn't using it anyways from being so stuffed up and sick, and she was also WAY too tired to care too much. We had a few nights where she asked for it, but then we reminded her that it was broke, and that was that. Thank GOODNESS!! That was something that needed to be taken care of a long time ago.
And the 3rd accomplishment was teaching Ethan how to sleep in his own crib AAAALLLLLL night long. He has been sleeping with me since birth, but now that i'm pregnant and not sleeping the best (and its only going to get worse as the months roll on), it was time for him to move to his own room. So one night I let him cry it out (which I HATE doing), and I would go in every 10 mins to lay him back down. Finally after an hour he fell asleep and that was all that it took. He is an AMAZING sleeper now! He will go down to bed at 7pm and wake up at 8:30am. It is soooooooo nice to have our own bed back....for only awhile though. lol. I'm really grateful that it only took one night of letting him cry it out. It took BriAnn and Emma forever to figure it out....poor girls. =O(
So on that note, here are some pictures of the cute little mister. The toy that he has in his mouth is a rubber skeleton, and he crawls around and goes about his day with its head in his mouth. It is hilarious!!
(Does the shirt look familiar? I told you that I live in my pajamies (as BriAnn calls them) when i'm at home. LOL. HONESTLY, who wants to wear jeans and get all dress up when your at home, and when you have been pregnant for 4 straight years? My jeans are already uncomfortable and i'm not even in the 2nd trimester yet. Jeans are the absolute WORST when your pregnant! I'm so glad I will be pregnant the whole summer long and won't have to worry about wearing jeans, not to mention those dang maternity jeans. Can you say, UNCOMFORTABLE?!)

Great happenings!!! Your hair is very pretty Aubre!!! To be young again and wear goofy glasses and live with toys in our mouth. FUN Love MOM
Congratulations! Those are very big accomplishments, what a load off your shoulders!!!!
Congrats!!! Less debt is like less laundry. It just makes you happy to see the pile get smaller doesn't it? Even if you know that there will be more to come (school, home, business, etc.) If you haven't already, you should listen to Dave Ramsey. He's on the radio from 11am to 1pm I think. He's all about living to reduce and eliminate debt.
And on the sleeping through the night thing...way to go. Both my boys were 18 mos. before they figured that one out.
