Our next trip was to Nauvoo. The last time I was in Nauvoo was in....umm....2000 I think. And they had just barely started the construction of the Nauvoo temple. So I was so excited to go back 7 years later! I can't even start to explain how amazing and gorgeous the Nauvoo temple is!! It takes your breath away. My hubby and I took turns going into the temple, and a nice little missionary couple let us hang out in a little visitor's center across the street so the kids could play with toys and eat while we waited for one another to come back. They were live savers!!!
